
Wayne and Lynda Eyster have been
showing chows since 1988.
We have bred and handled a number of champions. We have had
five dogs in the top twenty and three in the top ten to date.
Our goal is to breed healthy, sound, balanced chows.
Northwind Kennel is located in Grand Prairie, Texas
between Dallas and Fort Worth.
We won Winners Dog from the Bred By Exhibitor Class
and Award of Merit at our first Nationals in 1996, with a dog we bred
and handled "Triston" - - Ch. Northwinds Legend of Fall, ROM
under Breeder Judge Mr. Joel Marston. Triston also won the
Bred by Exhibitor Dog Award defeating the most dogs from the
Bred by Exhibitor Class in 1996.
2003 Chow Nationals we were honored with Winners Bitch from
Bred By Exhibitor Class and Best Opposite Sex with "Destiny" --
Ch. Northwinds Destiny on Ice, OFA and First Award of Merit
with "Moses" -- BISS Ch. Northwinds Prince of Egypt, ROM OFA
under Breeder Judge Mr. Bob
Banghart.
In 2003 we were honored with
the
Breeders Circle of Honor Bronze Award.

2004 Chow Chow Club Inc. awarded us with Bred By Exhibitor Dog Award
defeating the most dogs from the Bred By Exhibitor Class
"Strider" -- BISS Ch. Northwinds Lord of the Rings, OFA
and Bred By Exhibitor Bitch Award defeating
the most bitches from the Bred by Exhibitor Class --
"Destiny" Ch.
Northwinds Destiny on Ice, OFA for 2003.
2004 Chow Nationals our puppy bitch, "Trista" --
Ch. Northwinds Oriental Legend
won Best Opposite Sex in Sweepstakes
under Breeder Judge Mr. Harold Young.
She
went on to win Reserve Winners Bitch from the
Bred By
Exhibitor Class under Mr. Joe Gregory.

2005 Chow Club Inc. awarded
BISS Ch. Northwinds Prince of Egypt, ROM OFA
The Top Twenty People's Choice Award
" Moses" went on to win Best of Breed at the
Atlanta Regional Specialty in 2004, and
Frist Award of Merit for 2005.
In 2006 we were honored with the
Breeders Circle of Honor Silver Award.
